Jimmy Nelson Is Playing Catch After 10-Day Break
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson (shoulder) is now playing catch once again alongside starting pitcher Wade Miley. While Nelson was throwing from 150 feet on May 12, it appears he suffered a setback after a visit with Dr. ElAttrache in Los Angeles. Now with the 10-day break he has taken, Nelson will have to work his way back up to 150 feet in his throwing program. It was predicted that Nelson would be throwing off a mound in May in his original prognosis, however, it looks like that's not the case as of right now. His original timetable of returning near the All-Star break still looks possible. Right now, he's worth a disabled list stash in deep leagues and when he returns from injury, he should be added in all formats.
