Detroit Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard (illness) will be between the pipes on Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens after missing the past two games with the flu. He was pulled in each of his last two starts, allowing a combined nine goals on 32 shots (.718 save percentage) in the two contests. Howard has kept the Red Wings afloat several times throughout the season, but he is also prone to the occasional drubbing. He has a 17-16-5 record to go along with a 2.88 goals-against average and .910 save percentage. The American netminder has lost both matchups to the Canadiens this year, allowing eight goals on 45 shots in the process (.822 save percentage). Despite Howard's inefficiencies, the Canadiens are coming off of a deflating loss to the New Jersey Devils on Monday night and have lost six in a row on the road. Howard is a mid-tier fantasy play on a busy Tuesday evening.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
