Jets To Ease James Robinson In
2 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that newly acquired running back James Robinson (knee) will practice with the team on Wednesday, but the team will take it slow with him to see where he's at. Saleh also noted that Robinson is a one-cut runner who knows how to get downhill, and he'll be a nice complement to Michael Carter after impressive rookie Breece Hall's season-ending knee injury. Robinson dealt with some knee soreness last week but still played in the Week 7 loss to the New York Giants. The 24-year-old had been falling out of favor in Jacksonville as the lead back, and now he'll share the backfield with Carter in his new home. The Jets haven't committed to Robinson playing in Week 8, and if he is active, expect him to take a back seat to Carter.
