Jeff McNeil Undergoes Surgery On Wrist
5 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil (wrist) had surgery on Wednesday to fix a fractured bone in his right wrist. McNeil finished fourth in the National League with a .318 average and should be ready well in advance of spring training next year. On top of the impressive average, he slugged 23 home runs, scored 83 runs, drove in 75 and stole five bases in 510 at-bats. McNeil will has earned regular playing time by hitting .321/.383/.513 with 26 home runs, 94 RBI and 12 steals in 196 games for the Mets the last two years. He should be owned in all fantasy leagues again in 2020.
