Jayson Tatum Could Miss Thursday's Action
12 months agoBoston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (ankle) could sit out Thursday's outing versus Detroit as the Eastern Conference leaders start a back-to-back. The Celtics are trying to manage a left ankle sprain with Tatum, and a matchup against the worst team in the league could be an ideal spot for taking a night off. He's officially regarded as questionable for the game. Tatum's absence could help Al Horford back into the starting five. The veteran has done well in extended minutes this season, posting 9.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.7 blocks in 10 starts.
