Jaylin Davis Diagnosed With Grade 1 Hamstring Strain
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Jaylin Davis (hamstring) was diagnosed with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain after undergoing an MRI exam on Tuesday. Davis suffered the injury on Monday night and was forced to leave the game, and he could be headed for a stint on the injured list. It's a tough blow after he just came off the 60-day injured list recently due to a knee injury. Davis has one hit in nine at-bats at the major league level this season and has been functioning as outfield depth for the Gigantes. However, he was hitting .316/.418/.754 with seven home runs and 22 RBI in 14 games for Triple-A Sacramento before getting the call to the big leagues. He can continue to be ignored for fantasy purposes.
