Jaylen Warren Lurking In Pittsburgh
1 year agoESPN's Dan Graziano says not to be surprised if Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren is the team's lead RB by the end of the 2023 season. Najee Harris was the team's first-round selection in 2021 and has been very productive and reliable in his first two seasons. However, Warren's performance in practice and games has demanded a larger role that what the Steelers had planned for a year ago. The 24-year-old has actually looked more explosive than Harris in some areas. Unless Harris looks more like his rookie version, Warren could steal more opportunities away as the year goes on. An undrafted rookie in 2022, Warren had 77 carries for 379 yards in his rookie campaign and is absolutely worth a late-round flier. Those that take Harris would be wise to handcuff Warren to him.
