3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) had a second opinion on his injured shoulder, and rest was the recommendation, according to a source. No final determination has been made, but it's unlikely that Pierre-Paul will play in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams. The 32-year-old veteran pass-rusher also missed practice on Wednesday. If Pierre-Paul sits out, as expected, rookie first-rounder Joe Tryon could make his first career start at outside linebacker opposite Shaquil Barrett. Tampa's defense has become a strength after their Super Bowl win in which they shut down Patrick Mahomes, but expectations should be tempered for them in Week 3 against a strong Rams offense that can put up plenty of points.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
