5 years agoBrooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen certainly did not return from the All-Star break on a great note. Despite receiving the start from head coach Kenny Atkinson against the Sixers on Thursday, he played only 13 minutes and went scoreless, missing all four of his shot attempts. It was clear Allen was no match for Philly's Joel Embiid, who torched Brooklyn for 39 points and 16 rebounds. The 21-year-old is bound to have a bounce-back game against the Hornets on Saturday. He will not replicate his worst performance of the season anytime soon.--Jesse Cinquini
