7 years agoBrooklyn Nets center/power forward Jarrett Allen started again on Friday against the Lakers, scoring a career-high 20 points in the loss on a very efficient 8-for-11 shooting. Allen was serviceable on the glass, pulling down five boards in 24 minutes. He was also very productive on the defensive end, coming away with two steals and one block while committing no turnovers on the other side of the floor. Allen has been one of the hottest pickups across all leagues over the past few days. There is no reason why he should still be hanging around on your wire.--Matthew Thomas
