Jared Goff Says He's A Game-Day Decision
3 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said on Tuesday that quarterback Jared Goff (oblique) was "trending" towards playing on Thanksgiving on Thursday against the Chicago Bears. Goff told reporters that he's feeling "better every day," but also that he'd "probably categorize it as a game-day decision." He missed the Week 11 loss to the Cleveland Browns with the oblique strain, and it remains to be seen if he'll be back on the field as Detroit looks for their first win of the season. Goff, who has thrown for 2,109 yards, eight touchdowns and six interceptions in his first year with the Lions, feels like he can make all the necessary throws. With how underwhelming backup Tim Boyle was last week, we think it'll be Goff back under center against Chicago, where he'll remain a low-upside, low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes.
