Carolina Hurricanes’ goaltender James Reimer turned aside 40 shots from the Los Angeles Kings for a 2-0 win on Saturday night. It was a bounce-back game for him as he was coming off three poor outings despite his solid season overall. Nino Niederreiter scored the winning goal, which was just his second goal in 10 games and ninth of the year. Teuvo Teravainen had an empty-net goal and an assist. Those were his first points in four games but he still has 43 points in 45 games. Sebastian Aho had an assist to give him 40 points on the season. Kings’ goalie Jack Campbell was excellent despite the loss and stopped 28 of 29 shots. It was his second excellent game in a row and he's allowed just three goals on 75 shots during that stretch. Defenseman Drew Doughty made his presence known with five shots, two hits, and two blocks. Forward Austin Wagner had five shots and four hits.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
