James O'Shaughnessy To Return In Week 12
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars expect tight end James O'Shaughnessy (ankle) and center Brandon Linder (ankle, knee) to be activated from Injured Reserve and play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12. O'Shaughnessy has been out since suffering an ankle injury in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos. It's good news for an offense that just lost wide receiver Jamal Agnew for the rest of the year, although O'Shaughnessy won't exactly make up for the loss of Agnew's speed and explosive playmaking ability. With Dan Arnold firmly in the mix as the Jaguars top pass-catching tight end, O'Shaughnessy figures to play a secondary role at the position and won't be a realistic fantasy option for those in need of help at the tight end position.
