James Cook Establishing Himself As Top RB
1 year agoThe Buffalo Bills didn't make a substantial move in free agency or in the draft at the running back position, and it has paid off this summer at training camp with James Cook establishing himself at the team's top back. He has looked explosive carrying the ball and has impressed as a pass-catcher as well. Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey has even used the term "three-down back" when discussing Cook's potential in 2023. The 23-year-old is primed to have a substantial role in the offense this year and could be more impactful as a pass-catcher than Devin Singletary ever was, giving him clear RB2 upside in fantasy in his second NFL season. Cook had 89 carries for 507 yards (5.7 yards per tote) and two touchdowns while adding 21 catches for 180 yards and another score in 16 regular season games in 2022.
