Jakobi Meyers Pedestrian In Week 16 Win
12 months agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers led the team in receptions and receiving yards in the win against the Kansas City Chiefs. Meyers reeled in three of his five targets for 42 yards. The Raiders offense generated almost nothing through the air, and Meyers accounted for 68% of the team's passing yardage in this contest. The game's real story was the contribution of the Las Vegas defense, which scored two touchdowns in about seven seconds of game time. The run game headed by Zamir White was also dominant. White generated 145 yards on the ground, all on his own. The Raiders take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17. The Colts are tougher against the pass than the rush, so it could be another pedestrian afternoon for Meyers next week. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for pass-catchers because the Raiders offense is too inconsistent to trust in the fantasy playoffs.
