Houston Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick has been recalled from Tripe-A Fresno to replace the ailing Josh Reddick, per mlb.com. Marisnick was demoted last week after a disastrous start to his season. One season removed from hitting 16 home runs and hitting .243 in 2017, Marisnick was slashing .141/.151/.282 with 41 strikeouts through 85 at-bats this season before being sent down. He did enjoy a nice five-game stretch in the minors, slashing .286/.348/.667 with two home runs and four runs batted in. He may not automatically earn some starts in the next few days, however, with speedster Tony Kemp making things happen at the bottom of the lineup.--Joey C - RotoBaller
