Seattle Seahawks impending free-agent pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney is interested in playing for the New York Giants if he hits the open market on March 18, according to an NFL source. However, Clowney could be looking at a contract worth $22-23 million per season, which would likely be out of New York's price range. Even though the G-Men are expected to have around $75 million to spend, the team's front office have signaled that they are likely to play it cautious in free agency. It might be more cost-effective to re-sign Markus Golden, who had 10 sacks in 2019. Clowney only had three sacks after being traded from Houston to Seattle and he also has a long injury history, but he can be a difference-maker for NFL teams and fantasy owners in IDP leagues when he's on the field.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
