2/12:Vancouver Canucks goaltender Jacob Markstrom (lower body) is battling a lower-body injury and he is considered day to day. Head coach Travis Green said on Monday that he is hopeful Markstrom will be able to go in Wednesday's road game against he skidding Anaheim Ducks. "I'm hopeful he'll play Wednesday," Markstrom said. If he is unable to go, it would likely be rookie goaltender Michael DiPietro getting the starting nod, with a goaltender called up from the minors to serve as his backup. DiPietro was bludgeoned for seven goals on just 24 shots in Monday's game against the San Jose Sharks.--Daniel E. Dobish - Rotoballer
