Jacob Cowing 2024 Outlook: Not Much Room For Year One Impact
6 months agoSan Francisco 49ers' rookie wide receiver Jacob Cowing was selected in the fourth-round of the NFL Draft. After a successful college career that saw him surpass the 1,000 yard mark at two different schools, the 5-foot-9 receiver finds himself in one of the best offensive systems in the league. Despite being talented himself, Cowing currently sits behind Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, first-rounder Ricky Pearsall, and George Kittle in the pecking order. Not to mention Christian McCaffrey, who sees a bulk of targets go his way. If neither Samuel or Aiyuk are traded prior to the season, it may be a challenge for Cowing to get onto the field as a rookie. That being said, he is an intriguing dynasty stash given his ability mixed with the efficiency of the San Francisco offense.
