Jackson Chourio Hits First Home Run Wednesday
9 months agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio hit his first home run of the season and of his MLB career on Wednesday in a 7-3 loss to the Twins. It was his only hit in the game, going 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. The 20-year-old has now hit safely in the first five games of his career, and is now 7-for-20 (.350) with four RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. He spent the last few games batting ninth but was back atop the lineup on Wednesday. He's off to a nice start to 2024 and to his career, but for fantasy purposes we certainly would like to see him in the leadoff spot more often than not. Hopefully he continues his consistent hitting which should give the Brewers more reason to keep him there, especially with his speed.
