Jackie Bradley Jr. Creeping Towards Mendoza Line
6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. finished 1-for-2, with three runs batted in, and two walks in Wednesday's win over Kansas City. After an absolutely dreadful April, hitting just .148, Bradley Jr. hit at a .247 clip in May. His average now sits at .190, with a .290 on-base percentage, and a .316 slugging, along with four home runs, 17 RBI, and 21 runs scored. The 29-year-old had been on a relative power surge in the middle of May but has since cooled off. He can remain on waiver wires until he is able to climb himself out of the hole he dug in the early going.
