Jack Conklin Questionable For Wild-Card Game
4 years agoCleveland Browns offensive tackle Jack Conklin (illness) is not practicing on Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's wild-card playoff game against the division-rival Steelers due to an illness. The good news is that Conklin hasn't tested positive for COVID-19, so there's still a chance he can play on Sunday night. Rookie left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. is back from the Reserve/COVID-19 list, but a Conklin absence would be bad news for quarterback Baker Mayfield and the running game. Head coach/play-caller Kevin Stefanski and Pro Bowl offensive guard Joel Bitonio tested positive for COVID-19 and have already been ruled out, so Cleveland's offense can ill-afford to lose another key offensive lineman in their third matchup with Pittsburgh this year.
