Jac Caglianone Launches Sixth Triple-A Long Ball
Jac Caglianone continued his incredible start at Triple-A on Friday evening. Facing Saint Paul, Caglianone went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Through his first 10 contests with Triple-A Omaha, Caglianone has posted an impressive .341/.391/.805 with a double, six home runs, 12 RBI, and an 8:4 K:BB. The former sixth overall pick from last year's MLB Draft opened the campaign with Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Across 38 contests at that level, Caglianone posted a strong .322/.394/.553 slash line with eight doubles and nine long balls. Fantasy managers should continue to view Caglianone as a must-stash player in all leagues. In addition to seeing time primarily at first base, Caglianone has begun to see time in the outfield, which could open more opportunities for him in the majors. When he gets the call, he will be viewed as a must-start player in all formats given his elite power upside.
