Ja Morant Stays In Triple-Double Form
2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant made it back-to-back triple-doubles for himself in Sunday's matchup against Indiana, guiding the team to a 112-100 win. He finished with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists, becoming the first Grizzly ever to record a 25-10-15 line. Morant also had a block and two steals on the defensive end, but his shooting performance could've been better, with him going only 1-for-6 with the three-ball and finishing 9-for-21 overall from the field. The 2022 All-Star now boasts five triple-doubles for the whole campaign. Morant averaged 28.0 points in January and enters the next month with a three-game run of double-digit assists, so it's safe to say that he's currently playing some of the best basketball of his career.
