1 year agoKansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) was not listed on the team's first injury report of 2023 heading into the Week 1 matchup on Thursday night against the Detroit Lions. Pacheco didn't make his preseason debut until the finale after having offseason shoulder, but he was always expected to be ready for the start of the regular season. The second-year back heads into Week 1 as the expected lead back for the Chiefs after taking over starting duties in his rookie campaign, but he's going to be spelled by Jerick McKinnon and Clyde Edwards-Helaire, which will lower his fantasy ceiling. He's still attractive as a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 as long as he's healthy in a Chiefs offense that should continue to be one of the higher-scoring units in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
