New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin had to be helped off the ice on Friday evening against the San Jose Sharks. The non-contact injury happened during the second period. It appeared like Shesterkin went to move and everything gave away. Last season, he experienced a similar type of non-contact injury. However, he could not put any weight on the leg on what may be more of a hamstring malady. Tests expect to be done over the weekend but Shesterkin's night was done after stopping all 19 shots he faced. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
