Huascar Ynoa Getting Closer To A Return
3 years agoAtlanta Braves right-hander Huascar Ynoa (hand), who has been on the injured list the last two months with a broken hand, is scheduled to throw live batting practice this week and is on track to pitch in a game in the Florida Complex League next week. Ynoa had a really nice 3.02 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 50 strikeouts in nine outings (eight starts) over 44 2/3 innings before he punched a dugout bench in frustration and broke his right hand. The 23-year-old still has a ways to go before being activated from the 60-day injured list, but he's surely worth speculating on in deeper leagues if he can return to his pre-injury form in Atlanta's starting rotation.
