Gunnar Henderson’s Breakout Season Continues At Low-A
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles prospect Gunnar Henderson drove in five runs during a 3-for-5 game on Wednesday. The 19-year-old shortstop is now hitting .338 through 17 games and his 30 RBIs lead the minor leagues. He's seen 12 of his 24 hits go for extra bases, including six home runs. Henderson has shown some swing-and-miss in his game so far with a 26% strikeout rate but he's balanced that out with an 11% walk rate. A second-round selection from the 2019 draft, he's always had intriguing tools and he's getting to his raw power a little quicker than expected. Henderson is worth consideration in dynasty leagues if he continues his hot hitting into the summer.
