Not only did Glover Teixeira earn his sixth straight victory on Saturday, but he clinched the UFC light-heavyweight title via second-round submission. Teixeira's 40th win earned him his biggest prize to date. In 8:02 of action, Glover landed 23 significant strikes (71 total strikes) and landed two of his six takedown tries on the night. Once on the mat, the contest was in Teixeira's world, as he locked in a rear-naked choke and the championship. Unfortunately for the light-heavyweight division, there has been a quick turnover rate, and it would be surprising to see Teixeira go on a lengthy title run.--Matt Bricker
