Giants Waiting To Make Decision On Daniel Jones
4 years agoNew York Giants head coach Joe Judge said he's gotten "good feedback" on quarterback Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring) from the trainers, but he wants to see how Jones does at practice over the next three days before making a final decision on his status for Week 16 against the Ravens. Judge hopes to have "some kind of answer" by Friday. Jones missed Week 13 with a hamstring injury and then tweaked his ankle in the Week 14 loss to the Cardinals before being held out in Week 15. The second-year signal-caller was taking first-team repetitions in practice on Wednesday, so it seems he's trending in the right direction. Jones gives the entire Giants offense more upside than backup Colt McCoy, but he'll be a shaky low-end QB2 against a strong Ravens Defense if he returns to action this weekend.
