Giants Have Decision To Make On Daniel Jones
4 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (hamstring) didn't aggravate his hamstring injury in the Week 14 loss to the Cardinals, but head coach Joe Judge will make a determination on Tuesday on whether Jones will get some work in practice this week. But as long as Jones is moving around as good as he was in practice last week, Judge said he wouldn't hesitate to start Jones in the Week 15 matchup against the Browns on Sunday night. The 23-year-old played last weekend, but he was awful, going 11-for-21 for 127 yards and three fumbles (one lost). He was also sacked six times. Jones had a limp late in the game and was replaced by backup Colt McCoy in the fourth quarter. If Jones starts on Sunday night, consider him a shaky low-end QB2 for those in superflex leagues.
