1 month agoMinnesota Wild forward Gerald Mayhew scored his first career goal in a 4-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Mayhew gives a bit of hope to the Wild fan base, as they bring in some young offensive talent to decrease the average age on a veteran-heavy lineup. Mayhew had been the minor league teams best player last season, scoring 60 points in 71 games, and had started out this year with six points in four games. While the Wild may not score many goals, Mayhew could be someone to keep an eye on in your fantasy leagues if he can secure a bigger role with the Wild. --Nate Duffett - RotoBaller
