Geno Smith Puts In Second Straight Full Practice
12 months agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith (groin) appears to be on track to play in Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday after putting in a second straight full practice on Thursday. Smith has missed the last two games, although he was active as the backup to Drew Lock in Monday's upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The 33-year-old veteran will look to keep the good times rolling after throwing for 300-plus yards and a season-high three touchdowns in the team's Week 13 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Smith hasn't had as good of a season in 2023 as he did last year, but he should still be considered a decent midrange QB2 with his return on the horizon this Sunday. The Titans defense has been a middle-of-the-pack matchup for opposing QBs in 2023.
