Gabriel Moreno Still Sitting on Sunday
Gabriel Moreno (hand) remains out of the starting nine on Sunday when the Diamondbacks conclude a series against the Cincinnati Reds. Moreno exited Friday's contest early after being struck in the hand by a pitch. He sat out on Saturday. However, Moreno's X-rays came back negative, which suggests he could be in line to return to the lineup on Monday evening when they face the Seattle Mariners. Through 50 games this season, Moreno has held a .278/.355/.414 slash line with eight doubles, one triple, four home runs, and a 29:13 K:BB. He has only struck out at a 16.5% rate. This afternoon, Jose Herrera will do the catching duties and is slated to bat in the nine-hole. The Diamondbacks are a top target in DFS facing Cincinnati right-hander Brady Singer.
