Freddie Freeman Playing on Saturday
Freddie Freeman (ankle) is in the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's game against the New York Yankees. Freeman mentioned on Friday that he was dealing with discomfort on his surgically-repaired ankle. Despite that, Freeman will remain in the lineup, so it doesn't appear to be significant enough to put Freeman on the bench. Fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if Freeman does get a game or two off, assuming the issue doesn't go away. For now, Freeman will bat third and play first base versus right-hander Will Warren on Saturday. Fantasy managers should make sure they have Freeman in their lineups.
