Francisco Lindor Swipes Two Bags On Saturday
Francisco Lindor went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases in the Mets 5-3 win over the Nationals on Saturday. The steals were Lindor's ninth and tenth of the season and first since he returned from a stay on the injured list due to an oblique injury. Lindor has struggled all season, and especially since he returned from the IL on August 24. In the five games since he returned, Lindor is batting just .158/.158/.263 with one extra-base hit (a triple) and the two steals. Despite his struggles, Lindor should remain active in all formats, given his potential to accumulate stats in all fantasy scoring categories, including steals, as he showcased on Saturday. Hopefully, Lindor can finish up the 2021 campaign strong and give Mets fans and fantasy managers in dynasty formats alike a sense of hope for next season.
