Fernando Tatis Jr. Sparks Victory Rally
San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. reached base twice and scored two runs in five plate appearances on Opening Day against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 21-year-old sparked a three-run sixth inning with a double then walked and scored again an inning later. The electric leadoff man was a consensus top-25 pick this fantasy offseason and showed his knack for creating offense on Friday. He’ll square off against D-Backs southpaw Robbie Ray on Saturday. DFS players should note his career 1.268 OPS against left-handed pitching.
