Ezekiel Elliott Won't Practice Due To Knee Sprain
2 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said that running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) won't practice on Wednesday and will work exclusively with director of rehabilitation Britt Brown. Elliott is dealing with a knee sprain, but it's not the same PCL injury that took his explosiveness away for much of last year. However, the injury is to the same knee, so we'll have to keep a close eye on Elliott's practice participation this week leading up to the Week 8 game against the Chicago Bears. With Dallas' bye coming next week, there's a chance the Cowboys play it safe and hold Zeke out. If that comes to pass, Tony Pollard will be a must-start fantasy RB with lead-back duties this Sunday. Stay tuned for more updates on Elliott's status this week.
