Evan Engram Returns To Limited Practice
3 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram (calf) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. The oft-injured tight end missed the first two weeks of the season with his calf injury, but he's improving and could be on track to make his 2021 season debut in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. But with the 27-year-old still up in the air for this weekend, it's hard to consider him a serious starting option in fantasy. Kyle Rudolph has done very little in Engram's absence to begin the year, but Engram should be a much more favorable target for quarterback Daniel Jones when he's back and healthy, giving him TE1 upside in the right matchups. Engram's return will inevitably take targets away from Sterling Shepard and Kenny Golladay, who has been a huge disappointment so far.
