Erik Van Rooyen finished T52 at last week's Sony Open in Hawaii. He is set to tee it up again at this week's The American Express where he finished tied for sixth last year. Van Rooyen is positioned well to give himself a chance this week because he ranks in the 73rd percentile in greens-in-regulation and the 66th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway since January 1, 2023.
