6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs in Wednesday's loss to the Cardinals. Thames has been getting more playing time as of late with how badly Jesus Aguilar has been struggling and seems to be taking advantage of it. Thames also batted second on Wednesday, which is very encouraging. The batting order isn't expected to stay that way with Christian Yelich having the day off, but if Thames can continue to hit and get playing time, he could potentially bat fourth or fifth, which would be huge for him. For now, Thames is worth a speculative add and is a must-add in daily leagues.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
