Elvis Merzlikins had one of those nights as the starting goaltender allowed five goals on Saturday in the loss to the New York Rangers. Merzlikins stopped 36 of 41 shots in the defeat. This was his first home loss in six decisions. It was also his second poor performance against the New York Rangers this season. He is now 0-2 on the season against New York with a 4.62 goals-against-average and an .885 save percentage. Expect Columbus to bounce back with one more home game on this homestead versus the Detroit Red Wings.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
