Eli Stowers 2026 Fantasy Football Outlook: A Player To Watch Over The Back Half Of The Season
The Philadelphia Eagles made tight end Eli Stowers a second-round pick in April's Draft. The fit here is fantastic, as Stowers has a chance to establish himself in an offense undergoing plenty of change. All reports suggest that Philadelphia will be shipping No. 1 wide receiver A.J. Brown out of town in June, leaving plenty of room for other players to step up. Stowers is going to step in as a hyper-athletic tight end that offensive coordinators can only dream of coaching. He ran a 4.51 40-yard dash at the combine to go along with a massive 45.5-inch vertical jump. He will not start right away, but there is no doubt the Eagles will scheme plenty of looks for him throughout the season. Stowers could find consistent fantasy success if he can supplant fellow tight end Dallas Goedert on the depth chart. Goedert is getting older, and let's face it, he is not always healthy. When Goedert is on the field, he typically puts up solid numbers because of the way the Eagles use their tight ends. All Stowers needs is a slice of that pie, and he should begin to thrive. If Stowers gets going this year, the Eagles will be hard-pressed to keep him off the field.
