Houston Texans defensive end Dylan Horton announced on Monday that he had Stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma, but it is now in remission. He stepped away from the team in Week 12 during his rookie season in 2023, citing a "personal matter" on Nov. 22. Horton said on Monday that he learned of his cancer diagnosis on Dec. 1, and he didn't play again the rest of the season. The 23-year-old is trending in a positive direction now, though, and that he's focused on getting healthy and eventually returning to football. Before his cancer diagnosis, the fourth-round pick out of TCU had 13 tackles (one for loss) and two QB hits in 10 games for the Texans last year. It remains to be seen if Horton will be ready for training camp this summer or the start of the regular season this fall.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
