Dodgers To Slow Play Corey Seager's Rehab
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that shortstop Corey Seager's (hand) fracture "just isn't responding" like the team had hoped. Seager has not swung a bat since last week. "He can still feel it when he hits. We're going to put [hitting] on back-burner and slow-play it right now," Roberts said. The 27-year-old has already missed more than six weeks with his injury, and now he won't be back until sometime after the All-Star break. Last year's World Series MVP should remain stashed in all fantasy formats. With Seager sidelined, Gavin Lux has shifted over to the 6, while Chris Taylor, Zach McKinstry and Max Muncy have been sharing time at the keystone. Lux is hitting just .230 (53-for-230), but he does have six home runs, 32 RBI and two stolen bases and should also be owned everywhere for his upside in this potent LA offense.
