Didi Gregorius Smacks Two Homers In Win
7 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius is trying his very best to get back on track in June after a horrendous May. The 28-year-old smashed two home runs on Tuesday night, leading the way in a 3-0 victory over the Washington Nationals at Yankee Stadium. He’s now hitting .286 this month after hitting an incredibly-poor .151 in May. If Gregorius returns to form, the Yankees will be even more fearsome, already boasting the best record in baseball. With the victory, they maintained their half-game lead over the Boston Red Sox in the AL East.
