Dewayne Dedmon Plays 29 Minutes in Start
7 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Dewayne Dedmon got the start on Sunday against the Knicks in his team's three-point win. Dedmon contributed 12 points on 4-for-9 from the field while pulling down 14 rebounds. Head coach Mike Budenholzer decided to go with the veteran Dedmon when Ersan Ilyasova was deemed out because of an illness. The decision proved to be the right one as the Hawks ended up victorious. Dedmon's defense must have been sufficient, as neither Enes Kanter nor Kristaps Porzingis shot over 50 percent from the field. The Hawks face the Grizzlies next, who play at the slowest pace in the league, which does not help fantasy output.
