Denny Hamlin can still advance to the Championship race at Phoenix without winning this weekend's Xfinty 500 at Martinsville Speedway, but it's likely going to take a few other Playoff drivers having issues for that to happen. It'll be much easier if Hamlin just goes out and wins on Sunday to punch his ticket to Phoenix--and he got off to a good start on Saturday by having the fastest car in practice. Hamlin put down a lap of 20.160 seconds which equals 93.929 mph over this half-mile race track. Hamlin is a five-time winner at Martinsville Speedway and currently has back-to-back top-five finishes at track. If he's going to "win and get in" to the final Playoff race, this is the place to do it.--Jordan McAbee
