Denny Hamlin looked well on his way to another victory at Kansas Speedway in Sunday afternoon's Hollywood Casino 400, but a late caution and subsequent different pit road strategies by teams shook things up for the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. When it was all said and done, Hamlin ended up with a runner-up finish and a good points day, as he now has a 49-point cushion over the cut line with one race remaining in the Round of 16 of the Playoffs. When interviewed after the race on Sunday, though, Hamlin remarked how Kyle Larson's actions may have helped prevent him from winning again at Kansas. Denny stated, "I actually liked where I was at [on the final restart]. The No. 5 [Larson] was lagging back so far on the restart...I had no choice but to just back up to him, and by doing that, I was just sleeping on the start."--Jordan McAbee
