Demond Williams Jr. Questionable For Week 7
Washington quarterback Demond Williams Jr. is listed as questionable for Friday's Big Ten matchup against Purdue. On Monday's injury report, Williams Jr. was listed as doubtful, so the upgrade to questionable seemed positive, but Washington head coach Jedd Fisch said he is not under the impression Williams Jr. will play this week. Williams Jr. sustained a rib injury in the team's Week 6 41-24 loss to Iowa. Junior quarterback Elijah Brown replaced Williams Jr. early in the game and completed 28 of 39 pass attempts for 251 yards and three touchdowns.

Terrance Carter Jr. Hoping to Continue Upward Trend in Week 7
Texas Tech tight end Terrance Carter Jr. is coming off his best performance of the season and will look to match or better it in a Week 7 test against Arizona State. Carter caught eight passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in his last appearance. He has 13 catches for 129 yards and a score in just three games played overall. The matchup works in his favor this week, as Arizona State has allowed an average of 347.4 yards and 27.8 points per game so far. Carter is a better fantasy starting option in deeper leagues after a slow start to his year, but coming off a big game and going into a favorable matchup, he has starting appeal in all league types.

Trae'shawn Brown Looks to Keep Delivering With Limited Touches
Alabama running back Trae'shawn Brown hasn't been a workhorse, but he's delivered some solid fantasy performances and will try to put together another one in Week 7 against Tennessee. He has 51 carries for 301 yards and five touchdowns across six games so far, plus has caught five passes for an additional 33 yards. Brown has gotten double-digit carries on just two occasions this season, but has 66 or more rushing yards in three of his past four contests. Tennessee will be a bit tougher test for him, as the Volunteers' defense has allowed 293.7 yards and 15.5 points per game. Brown is a more confident starting option in deeper fantasy setups, but also has delivered enough to consider in all leagues.

Chris Marshall Looks to Remain Involved in Week 7 Test
Arkansas wide receiver Chris Marshall has been a pretty big part of the team's offense, and he will look to keep that going and turn that into a big fantasy showing against Vanderbilt in Week 7. Marshall has 42 receptions for 605 yards and two touchdowns in the first six games of his season. He has at least five receptions in each contest, while going for at least 56 yards. Vandy is a pretty favorable matchup for the wideout, as the Commodores' defense has surrendered 353.5 yards and 29.5 points per contest so far. Marshall's fantasy owners should have enough confidence to start the wide receiver this coming week, especially in deeper setups.

Darian Mensah Looks to Deliver in Good Week 7 Matchup
Miami quarterback Darian Mensah will look to lead his team to a Week 7 win over Florida State and also deliver big for his fantasy managers in the process. He has completed 84.2% of his passes across five games so far, accumulating 1,438 passing yards and 15 touchdowns, while still not throwing an interception. Mensah has rushed for 79 yards and two more scores on 12 attempts. His last game was the first time he hasn't thrown for at least three touchdowns, and with a rushing TD, Mensah still had a productive fantasy showing. Florida State is allowing 412.8 yards and 27.7 points per game, so Mensah's fantasy owners should be confident starting him in Week 7.

Rocky Beers Eyes Bounce-Back Showing in Week 7
Oklahoma tight end Rocky Beers struggled to produce in the team's upset win over Texas and he'll look to bounce back in another ranked matchup against Kentucky in Week 7. Beers had 29 receiving yards across four receptions against Texas, marking the second time in three games that he's underperformed as a fantasy asset. He has 22 catches for 284 yards and two touchdowns across five games overall. Beers has been a up-and-down fantasy asset, but the matchup against the Wildcats bodes well for the tight end. Kentucky allows 382.2 yards and 28 points per game, so there's some optimism for Beers putting together a better outing in Week 7.

KJ Duff Looks to Keep Rolling in Good Week 7 Matchup
Rutgers wide receiver KJ Duff has been a very good fantasy option to this point of the season, and a favorable Week 7 matchup against Maryland bodes well for the fantasy asset again. Across five games, Duff has 33 receptions for 628 yards and seven touchdowns. His last game was the first one he didn't catch a touchdown in, but he still had 78 yards across four receptions. Duff has at least four catches and 78 yards in every game, and that's still good fantasy production. Maryland has allowed 354 yards and 32.7 points per game so far, so the matchup is right for Duff to excel this week, so he should be started confidently.

Patrick Overmyer Hoping for More After Monster Performance
Houston tight end Patrick Overmyer is coming off a career game and will now look to keep things rolling in Week 7 against Oklahoma State. The Cougars' tight end caught eight passes for 83 yards and four touchdowns last week, plus had a rushing yard. Overmyer now has 33 catches for 400 yards and six touchdowns over six contests this season. He has at least six catches in all but two games, and has gone for at least 68 receiving yards in four straight contests. Oklahoma State is an OK matchup, as the Cowboys' defense surrenders 328.8 yards and 21.4 points per game so far this season. Fantasy owners should be confident starting Overmyer, especially after his latest performance.

Jamal Roberts a Strong Fantasy Option as Lead Back Still
Missouri running back Jamal Roberts looks to continue his big fantasy season against a ranked Ole Miss team in Week 7. Roberts has been the workhorse back for the Tigers, and that should continue with Ahmad Hardy not back in the mix yet. Roberts has 147 rushing attempts over six games, racking up 828 yards and eight touchdowns, plus catching 11 passes for 84 yards. He has 22 or more carries in each of the past five contests, and has five rushing scores over the past two weeks combined. Despite facing a ranked opponent, Roberts' outlook for Week 7 is solid, as Ole Miss has surrendered 392.4 yards and 28 points per game so far this season.

Cayden Lee Looking to Continue Big Season in Tough Week 7 Test

CJ Carr Eyes Big Performance in Tough Week 7 Test
Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr will look to deliver big in the team's battle with BYU in Week 7. Carr has completed 70.8% of his passes across six games so far, racking up 1,378 passing yards and 16 touchdowns, while only having one interception. He has 69 rushing yards and three touchdowns across 17 attempts as well. BYU is allowing just 254.4 yards and 13.4 points per game so far, but Notre Dame will also be the Cougars' toughest challenge to this point of the season. At this point, fantasy owners should have confidence in Carr in any matchup, but expectations for him this coming weekend should be tempered just a bit.

Blaze Berlowitz Out a Month After Surgery
Vanderbilt quarterback Blaze Berlowitz (collarbone) had surgery on a broken collarbone on Tuesday. The injury will cost him a month of play, according to head coach Clark Lea. Berlowitz started for the Commodores against Georgia when regular starting QB Jared Curtis was injured. He was 12-of-23 passing in that game, throwing for 190 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Berlowitz has 386 passing yards, a touchdown and a pick while completing 52.8% of his passes over five appearances this season. He's added 110 rushing yards and a score across 25 attempts. Curtis will start when healthy, but if he ever misses more time over the next month, it'd likely be Whit Muschamp getting the call as the next QB.

Leonard Moore has Chance to Return in Week 7
There's optimism that Notre Dame defensive back Leonard Moore (concussion) could return for the team's showdown with BYU in Week 7. Across five games so far this year, Moore has eight tackles. Moore had 79 combined tackles across his first two seasons with Notre Dame, along with seven interceptions and three forced fumbles. The Fighting Irish defense has been stout this season, but could use their star cornerback for the test against BYU. The Cougars are averaging 433.4 yards and 34.6 points per game so far. Notre Dame's defense is allowing just 214.2 yards and 11 points per contest through six games, but this will be the unit's toughest test yet.

Faizon Brandon Practices Tuesday
Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon (shoulder) practiced on Tuesday. He did not play in the team's win over Arkansas this past week. If he's not able to go this week, it will likely be George MacIntyre starting against Alabama. Brandon has played in five games so far, completing 60.4% of his passes for 697 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception. He's also rushed for 130 yards and three scores over 53 attempts. MacIntyre was 18-of-29 passing in last week's win - he threw for 247 yards and a touchdown, but also threw two interceptions. He didn't add anything on the ground. Whichever quarterback starts will have a tough test ahead against the Crimson Tide, who allow 336.3 yards and 20.7 points per game so far.

Ahmad Hardy Not Ready to Return Yet
Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy (leg) has not begun practicing yet, so he's at least a couple of weeks away from returning, according to head coach Eli Drinkwitz. The coach noted that the back hasn't begun a two-week ramp-up period yet. Hardy was at Missouri last year after spending his first collegiate season with Louisiani-Monroe. The RB had 1,649 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns across his 13 games with Missouri last year, while also catching six passes for 22 more yards. This year, it's been Jamal Roberts leading the backfield, carrying the ball 147 times already for 828 yards and eight touchdowns. Xai'Shaun Edwards has 124 yards and a score across 36 attempts. When Hardy is back, Edwards' role could shrink even more, while Hardy could also eat into Roberts' workload.

Khobie Martin Getting Close to Returning
Indiana running back Khobie Martin (forearm) is nearing a return, according to head coach Curt Cignetti. He played in the season opener and got injured in the first series he played in, just two plays in. Martin is in his third collegiate season and had played 16 games coming into this season. The RB didn't do much in 2024, but carried the ball 78 times for 505 yards and six touchdowns during the team's title run in 2025. With Martin out of the picture, it's been running backs Lee Beebe and Turbo Richard leading the backfield, carrying the ball 98 and 71 times, respectively. Beebe has 551 yards and four scores, while Richard has 597 yards and five touchdowns. Martin being active again could mean less work for Beebe and Richard, so that's something to keep in mind when it happens.

Michael Fasusi Close to Returning
Oklahoma offensive lineman Michael Fasusi (shoulder) is "just about ready" to play, according to head coach Brent Venables. The coach still said Fasusi had to clear a couple more hurdles, but also said he was excited to get him back soon. Oklahoma is trending up after upsetting Texas last week, and now possibly getting a top o-lineman back, the Sooners could keep surging in the second half of the season. The Sooners' offense could use more help, as they are averaging just 304.6 yards and 23 points per game so far. Fasusi played 11 games for the Sooners as a freshman, but has been limited to one contest so far this year.

Danny Scudero May Not Return in Week 7
Colorado wide receiver Danny Scudero (lower body) might not be on the field for the team's Week 7 matchup against Utah, according to head coach Deion Sanders. Scudero has appeared in two games so far, catching five passes for 24 yards and rushing twice for 14 yards. He starred at San Jose State in 2025, catching 88 passes for 1,297 yards and 10 touchdowns, so he was expected to be a big part of the Colorado offense. Without Scudero around, just three Colorado pass catchers are over 10 receptions. Wideout Joseph Williams leads the team with 454 yards and five scores across 32 receptions. Wide receiver DeAndre Moore Jr. has 18 grabs for 242 yards and a touchdown, while wideout Quannell Farrakhan Jr. has 12 catches for 148 yards. Utah will be a tough matchup for whoever plays for Colorado - the Utes' defense have allowed 13 points and 285 yards per game to this point of the season.

Isaac Wilson Starting over Julian Lewis in Week 7
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders announced that Isaac Wilson will start over Julian Lewis at quarterback in Week 7 against Utah. Wilson is a transfer from Utah, and has appeared in three games so far. He's completed 56.3% of his passes for 443 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, while rushing for 31 yards across 22 attempts. Lewis has played in four games, completing 64.2% of his passes for 733 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions - he's rushed for a touchdown, but not much else on the ground. Wilson's matchup against his old team is a very tough one, as the Utes have allowed just 13 points and 285 yards per game to this point of the season.

Phillip Daniels Expected to Return for Big Week 7 Clash
Ohio State right tackle Phillip Daniels (lower body) is expected back in the lineup for the team's showdown with Indiana on Saturday. He suffered the injury against Texas, so Ohio State has been without a big piece of their o-line for the past four games. Daniels is in his third collegiate season after spending 2024 with Minnesota before coming over to Ohio State. He's logged 27 games so far and will be a welcomed addition for a stiff test against Indiana. The Hoosiers have allowed just 263.5 yards and 11.8 points per game defensively, but the Buckeyes' offense has plenty of talent, and should be even better with Daniels back out there.

Kyle Efford Medically Retires from Football
Georgia Tech linebacker Kyle Efford has medically retired from college football. He announced his decision on Tuesday, citing an accumulation of injuries over his career. Efford got in three games this season and posted 27 combined tackles, including a sack and two tackles for losses. Over his five years in college football, Efford tallied 250 combined tackles, with 10.5 going for losses. He also has 6.5 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble over his career. Even with only playing three games so far, he sits fifth on the team in tackles. Defensive lineman Tawfig Thomas and defensive back Tae Harris have 32 combined tackles each to lead the team, while defensive end Taje McCoy has 30 and linebacker E.J. Lightsey has 28.
